The home of Esther and Charles Webster is now the site of the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center and Webster’s Woods Sculpture Park.Charles Webster was instrumental in attracting President Franklin D. Roosevelt to Port Angeles and the establishment of the Olympic National Park. Webster used the Port Angeles Evening News in civic leadership. Robbie Mantooth, Journalism Instructor and The Buccaneer Advisor worked with Esther Webster to set up the $550,000 Webster Journalism scholarship for Peninsula College students.
