“It’s always a fun time for students. In fact, it’s one of our most popular events.” Associated Student Council vice president, Alex Losee, 22, said.
And he wasn’t wrong.
Throughout the night of Oct. 29, students poured into the Pirate Union Building, sporting their seasonal spooky style, laughing with peers and rocking it on the dance floor.
Some memorable costumes included a political protester, R2D2 and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
“It was fun for us to put together, too.” Losee reflects. The ASC had the PUB walls laden with spider web balloons and basking under red and blue disco lights. There was even a black-and-white silent movie playing.
The dance went from 9 p.m. to midnight, and the overall turnout included more than 200 people.
