The Peninsula College Foundation’s application is now open for students seeking scholarships to attend the college for the 2020-2021 school year.
The process is all online.
Although the application opened initially on Jan. 22, more scholarships have become available. These scholarships entail ”the James D. Glann Memorial Scholarship, for a first-generation college student, and the Olympic Peninsula Porsche Club Scholarship, for a student in the Automotive Technology Program at Peninsula College, ” according to the foundation.
The due of the applications are mostly April 19, however, it is now extended to May 15. The foundation advises that applicants check each scholarships deadlines at http://www.thewashboard.org/.
To apply for Peninsula College Foundation scholarships, follow these steps:
· Visit www.theWashBoard.org.
· Create a login and a personal profile, or update existing profile.
· Enter “Peninsula College” in the search toolbar to review the list of all available scholarships for the 2020-2021 school year.
· Apply! There is no limit to the number of scholarships that an individual can apply for, as long as the criteria for the scholarship is met.
With the deadline fast approaching, students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible, as many scholarships require letters of recommendation, personal essays, and unofficial transcripts. Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted.
Award notifications for general scholarships will be provided to applicants beginning May 18. Applicants for nursing scholarships will be notified beginning July 20.
