Swing into winter activities

Here are a few ideas for the current and upcoming seasons; If you are thinking of taking a road trip Leavenworth may be an ideal option. Known to light up becoming an “enchanted village like inside a snow globe.” If you are looking for a fun and unique adventure every winter Leavenworth offers an “unforgettable winter experience” lighting up the entire town every night from thanksgiving day to Valentine’s day weekend. To name a few events the village is offering a Christmas lighting festival, You can enjoy live music, a visit from St. Nicolas, Hot spiced wine and coco, and a Christmas Market.
If your wanting to stay more local Port Angeles also has a great variety of adventures and festive activities like the Port Angeles Farmers Market, the Holiday Makers Market, an outdoor ice skating rink, Wine, Cider and Cheese Tour, and North Olympic Peninsula Turkey Trot.
Just under an hour out of town, Port Townsend will have its own share of holiday festivities such as Christmas Plays & events and a Choo Choo ride throughout downtown. Port Angeles downtown is the Black Ball where you can catch the Ferry to Victoria where Christmas is also highly celebrated and Silverdale shopping center will be opening stores around 6 a.m for the Black Friday deals!

To a person like me that doesn’t own a car, I know it is a little hard to get around in some areas. However, that does not stop us from wanting to celebrate the festivities!
In that sense, here are few ideas to enjoy the upcoming season in Victoria, British Columbia in Canada. You can catch a ferry to Victoria in downtown Port Angeles.
I would suggest people to check out Royal British Columbia Museum. It is a great place to escape the cold. There are many galleries and exhibits that would keep you busy to explore and wander through for a couple of hours. There is also an IMAX film in the museum.
If you are wanting to stay in the cold and feel the festivity, Belfry Theater is somewhere to look into. It is a small but ornate theater venue with a lot of character and cozy vibe. There is a take-in show as well.
