Sound Publishing has 49 publications they print including the Peninsula Daily News, the Sequim Gazette and the Forks Forum.
They also print The Buccaneer every quarter.
In the photo on the left, the May 1 Edition includes the story “Sound Publishing weighs bringing press back to Port Angeles.”
This exclusive story written by Buccaneer News Editor Saki Kambe is the first official news printed about the company’s plan to return a printing press to the Olympic Peninsula.
Upon request, Vince L’Hirondelle from Sound Publishing sent The Buc staff an inside look at the Everett press in action.
If the publishing company brings the press back to Port Angeles, The Buc staff is looking forward to seeing this process in person.
Having the press active in Port Angeles would also enhance the experience of student reporters for years to come, and allow pressing news to be published sooner.
