The PA Cabaret featured a mother-daughter presentation, representing the tragic losses that the Port Angeles community has recently suffered.
Three people have leapt to their deaths from the 8th St. bridges in 2017.
The duo now refer to themselves as the “Guardians of the Bridge.”
Local dance academies from Sequim and Port Angeles came together to gather toys for the Salvation Army at the Dec. 2 event, arranged by Jenny Moria.
Entertainment was provided by performing groups Aspire, PAHS Cheer team, Hula Hooping, Dancing Grandmas, PA Cabaret, and Shula Azhar.
The Port Angeles Cheer team got people on their feet once again. They performed stunts, and showed off some of their cheers. The team also shared a Christmas inspired dance routine.
Shula Azhar closed the night with both acapella and solo routines. Using finger cymbals, the ladies created a breathtaking performance of their skills as a group. Individually they performed solos that highlighted their own skill set.
The crowd was moving, clapping and shouting. Many talented people from all over the peninsula were able to show off their moves while supporting a good cause.
By the end of the night, over $200 worth of toys had been gathered for the Salvation Army’s toy drive.
