The Allied Health building was finally unveiled following spring break, and is currently in use by nursing students and childhood educations programs.
The new building is the most contemporary and up-to-date in terms of technology and classroom tools and resources campus-wide.
Some of the new tools include cross- sectional skeletons, medical test dummies and simulation rooms.
Though opening later than expected,
after a two month delay and a worker strike earlier in the year, the production that went into constructing and finishing the building “went really well,” according to Construction Project Manager David Wegener.
The first floor of Allied Health serves as an educare facility and is occupied by the Early Childhood Education program.
The second floor is used by nursing students.
