The Peninsula College Flag of Nations celebration turned out great again. The annual event was held in the Pirate Union Building on Oct 20th. Students from different countries wore their traditional attires and brought their national flags during the event. The purpose of this event is to celebrate the diversity that each student brings to the campus.
Leonardus Marviano, an international student from Indonesia said, “This event was very beneficial not only for the international students, but also for other people, especially the American. Because through this event, we can understand each other and learn from each other. And through learning, we can appreciate each other .” There are 116 international students that are attending class in Peninsula College this fall quarter.
