Led by Cierra Moss’ 19 points and 9 rebounds, Peninsula survived a stagnant first-half of shooting to outduel Whatcom 56-39, Wednesday, in Bellingham.
On Sunday, the Lady Pirates cruised past Everett 69-43, holding the Trojans to 5-points int he 4th quarter.
Imani Smith scored a game-high 19 points, to go with 9 rebounds, 6 steals and 3 assists.
Meanwhile, Bellevue defeated Skagit Valley to break a 3-way tie for first-place with Peninsula.
Peninsula and Bellevue now sit alone, atop the North Division standings.
The top two seeds in each division will host a first-round game in the NWAC playoffs this year.
