Ten Peninsula College soccer players recently signed letters of intent to contiue their play at four year schools.
“As the program has progressed over the last five years, I find myself talking less about winning games and more about where our players have gone upon graduation from Peninsula,” said Kanyon Anderson, men and womens head coach.
Port Angeles High School graduate, Paxton Rodocker, will play her next two seasons at Division I Mississippi Valley State.
Other signings, from the women’s team, included Kayla Bell, who’s going to Division I Arkansas Little Rock; Alyssa Bertuleit, moves to Division I San Jose State; Emily Flinn, goes to Division I Georgia State; Kasie Lough and Solana Ashe, are both going to Division II Vancouver Island University; and Larkyn Nelson, signs with Division II Hawaii Pacific University.
Signing from the men’s team, were Victor Sanchez, goes to University of Great Falls; Caio Maciel is going to Division II Queens University of Charlotte; and Keevan Webb signed with Division II Simon Fraser University.
“I am happy to see that they took care of things on the field and in the classroom, and still have a love for the game,” Anderson said of this class of sophomores. “This group will continue to represent the program well after they move on to universities and beyond.”
